Camping passes are valid per-tent. Each person who will be staying in your tent will need to purchase a Glow Wild ticket to camp. The maximum number of people per tent is 6. Camp Area #5 will open at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 2.

Additional Tents | $25 per Tent

Any additional tents will need to purchase a second $25 camping pass. Each person who will be staying in your tent will need to purchase a Glow Wild ticket to camp. The maximum number of people per tent is 6.

Check in and Check Out

Camp Area #5 will open at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 2. All campers must check in with the Polk County Conservation staff member that will be located in the camp area from 1 - 4 p.m. or with the event shuttle driver after 4 p.m. Check out by noon on Monday, September 3. All campers must get their event tickets scanned at the Glow Wild entrance once the shuttle drops you off.


CAMPING FAQ

Can I bring my RV or travel trailer?

Festival camping is for tents only due to safety reasons and space. If you prefer to bring an RV, please reserve a campsite at Jester Park online at www.mycountyparks.com.

Is a camping pass per-person or per-tent?

Camping passes are valid per-tent. Each person who will be staying in your tent will need to purchase a Glow Wild ticket to camp. You will be given a wristband and camping ticket to display on your tent upon check-in.

How many people are allowed per-tent?

The maximum number of people per tent is 6. Each person who will be staying in your tent is required to purchase a Glow Wild ticket to camp. You will be given a wristband and camping ticket to display on your tent upon check-in.

Will camping sell out?

There is a chance camping will sell out during the online pre-sale of tickets. If you are worried about tickets selling out, we recommend purchasing them shortly after they go on sale on July 6th at 10 a.m.

Can I buy a camping pass at the event?

If there are tickets available, yes! Note that there may be a price increase for tickets purchased the day of the event.

Do I need a camping pass to enter the camping area?

Yes, you will need to show your purchased online camping pass when first entering the campsite. Once you check in, you will be given a wrist band and camping ticket to put on your tent.

When can I check in/out to the camping area?

Camp Area #5 will open at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 2. Can I park my car next to my tent?

Due to safety concerns, cars will need to be parked in the designated area within the campground. It will be clearly marked.

Can I camp in my car?

Only tent camping is allowed within the campsite. Car camping in the parking lots or at the campsite area is prohibited. 

Will you have quiet camping?

While we cannot promise “quiet camping,” you can purchase a campsite in other places throughout Jester Park if they are available via mycountyparks.com. However, a shuttle is not provided from those campsites to the event site.

Will there be power?

Power will not be provided for individual camping spots. We suggest bringing headlamps or flashlights.

Will there be water?

Water services are not available in the campground. Please bring the water you might need for camping.

Will there be restrooms?

There will be portable toilets scattered throughout the camping area. Two handwashing units will be positioned in the campground.

Are there shower facilities?

Two showerhouses are found within  Jester Park, but not in Camp Area #6. Campers may use these showerhouses throughout the weekend.

Can I bring alcohol?

Alcohol is allowed at the camping area (no hard liquors). However, no outside food or drink is allowed into the Glow Wild event site. All park rules apply. 

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Feel free to bring your own food and drink into the camp area. However, no outside food or drink is allowed into the Glow Wild event site.

The following items are prohibited in the camping area:

• No tiki torches, fireworks or the like.
• No firearms are allowed in the camping area.
• No RVs in Tent Campground. The festival camp area is tent only camping.
• No Pets. We love our pets too, but please don’t bring your animals. Service animals are welcome.
• No Selling Items. No unlicensed vending or sponsor tents are allowed in our campgrounds.
• Quiet time in the campgrounds begins at 10:00 PM.
• All Polk County Conservation Park Rules apply.

Are firepits allowed?

There will be firepits scattered throughout the camp area that can be used on a first-come, first-served basis. You are welcome to have a campfire, as long as they are restricted to the designated areas.

Are kids allowed?

Yes! Kids are allowed in the camping area with a parent or guardian. Please note that we cannot promise a family- friendly atmosphere at this camp area.

Are tents secured?

Polk County Conservation will not provide 24/7 onsite security, please do not leave valuables in tents. Polk County Conservation, the Great Outdoors Foundation, and Cumulus Media are not responsible for lost or stolen items. All camping attendees are subject to search upon entry.
